Since 2008, Antica Libreria has been a member of A.L.A.I. (Associazione Librai Antiquari d’Italia), which since 1947 has brought together and represented worldwide Italy’s finest antiquarian bookshops and the culture of rare and fine old and modern books. Our adherence to the code of ethics set out in the “Collection of Customs and Practices” approved by L.I.L.A./I.L.A.B., the international antiquarian booksellers’ association to which A.L.A.I. is affiliated, provides a further guarantee of quality. With our growing enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for the “ancient fragrance” of printed paper, we have become—and are proud to be—a point of reference for many bibliophiles, scholars, collectors, and reading enthusiasts. We are here for you, which is why we have aimed to make the website easy to use, from searching for texts of interest to purchasing them, as well as fulfilling your special requests. Our commitment remains as strong as ever: to demonstrate our professionalism in satisfying those who, like us, love books and use our website—and in doing so, to draw on your suggestions. We always listen to you, because we learn so much from you.
