Welcome to Antica Libreria, a company with over 20 years of experience in the sector of ancient, rare and valuable books.


Since 2003 we have already started the activity with the online sale of the books in the catalog and we have enriched the material available more and more over the years. In our portal we offer you a rich and constantly updated catalog of ancient and rare books, new and first editions. There is no shortage of valuable works such as the FMR books and, again, manuscripts, musical scores and geographical maps.

The adventure continues in 2019 with the opening of a store in the historic center of Catania, which becomes a meeting place for bibliophiles and where book presentations and various cultural events are held. In our store you will also find engravings, postcards, historical photos, vintage bookmarks, prints and engravings and many geographical maps.

Since 2008 Antica Libreria has been a member of the ALAI (Association of Antiquarian Booksellers of Italy) which since 1947 has brought together and represented the best Italian antiquarian bookshops in the world, the culture of ancient and modern books of study and value. Acceptance of the deontological code expressed in the "Collection of uses and customs" approved by LILA/ILAB, the international association of antiquarian booksellers to which ALAI is affiliated, represents a further guarantee of quality. With our growing enthusiasm, dedication and passion for the "ancient scent" of printed paper we have become, and we are proud of it, a point of reference for many bibliophiles, scholars, collectors and reading enthusiasts.
