Louis Ducros was one of them.
His story as a traveler among travellers, as a narrator with lines and colors is well known: from the Roman countryside to Malta, he chose Italy and the Mediterranean to form his style, hatching and painting, alone or together with other extraordinary companions , what surrounded him.
Unpublished is the collection of watercolors created during her trip to Sicily which, preserved at the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam, was discovered thanks to the passion and acumen of Liliane Dufour: the publication of these images is the privilege of which Domenico Sanfilippo Publisher is proud. The Sicily of the traveling painter born in the Swiss mountains and enchanted by our land is made of light and colour, of discovery and enchantment.
